The MSc in Leadership in Healthcare is a part-time programme taken over two years. Entry is restricted to employees of the HSE, Tusla or Section 38 organisations.
NOTE: This programme has been revised. Students take 90 credits as follows:
IM6079 Understanding and Developing Leadership Practice (10 credits)
IM6080 Building Foundations for Team Effectiveness (10 credits)
IM6081 Making Sense of Organisational Values, Engagement and Service Delivery (10 credits)
IM6082 Delivering System-wide Co-ordinated Care (10 credits)
IM6083 Creating Engaging and Learning Cultures (10 credits)
IM6084 Evaluating Leadership Behaviours and Impacts (10 credits)
IM6109 Leadership in Healthcare Dissertation (30 credits)

Exit Award: Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership in Healthcare
Upon successful completion of modules to the value of at least 60 credits (including IM6079,
IM6080, IM6081, IM6082, IM6083, IM6084) students may apply to exit the programme and be awarded
a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership in Healthcare (NFQ Level 9, Major Award).
Students take 90 credits as follows:

IM6110 Personal Leadership in Delivering Compassionate Care (20 credits)
IM6111 Creating High Performance Teams in Healthcare (20 credits)
