No student may register for the Second Year programme of study until the First University Examination in Business Information Systems has been passed. Second Year consists of core modules to the value of 50 credits and elective modules to the value of 10 credits. To be admitted to the Second University Examination in Business Information Systems, a student must have satisfactorily attended modules to the value of 60 credits as follows:

Note: The Third University Examination in Business Information Systems will be held in February. Students will begin Work Placement after the Third University Examination. In the event of a student not obtaining Work Placement the student will be assigned a project. The Work Placement/Project will be assessed at the Fourth Year Examination Board, on the basis of a report (IS4400 - 5 credits) which must be passed in order to graduate.

No student may register for the Fourth Year programme of study until the Third University Examination in Business Information Systems has been passed. Fourth Year consists of core modules to the value of 30 credits and elective modules to the value of 30 credits. To be admitted to the BSc (Hons) (Business Information Systems) Degree Examination, a student must have satisfactorily attended modules to the value of 60 credits as follows:
