MSc Degree by Research
Note: Every effort has been made to ensure that the programme and module content as described in the University's Calendar and Book of Modules for the 2021-22 academic year are accurate. However, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, no guarantee is given that programme/module content, delivery and assessment may not be altered, cancelled, replaced, augmented or otherwise amended. The MSc Degree by Research is available in Architecture.
A candidate:
a. must pursue an
internal postgraduate programme for at least one year from the date of first
registration for the programme after obtaining the primary degree;
b. must
submit a major dissertation based upon the work done during such
programme;
c. must pass an examination on the subject matter of the
dissertation if the examiners so decide.
It is possible, in particular circumstances, to pursue the MSc Degree by Research by part-time study over a period of at least two years from the date of first registration for the programme.
