The Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation through Design Thinking is a full-time programme running for 12 months.

Applicants must have a Second Class Honours in a primary honours degree (NFQ Level 8) or equivalent in any discipline.
Applicants who do not meet these entry requirements will be considered under Recognition of Prior Learning and assessed on the following factors:

English Language Requirements:

2020/21: IELTS 6.5 (Minimum individual sections 5.5)
2021/22: IELTS 6.5 (Minimum individual sections 6.0)

Students take 60 credits as follows:

BU6008 Data and Digital Literacy (15 credits)
BU6009 Industry in the Classroom (30 credits)
ED6076 Innovation, Creativity and Design Thinking (15 credits)
