The MA in Contemporary Migration and Diaspora Studies is a full-time programme running for 12 months from the date of first registration for the programme.
In order to be permitted to proceed to the MA degree in Contemporary Migration and Diaspora Studies, a candidate must hold a primary degree with a Second Class Honours Grade I (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Applied Social Studies, Applied Psychology, History, Geography, Law, Politics, Sociology or cognate disciplines, e.g. Anthropology). Candidates with a primary degree with a Second Class Honours Grade II will also be considered, subject to a written expression of interest and/or an interview. Final acceptance is subject to approval by the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences, UCC.

Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Migration and Diaspora Studies
Candidates who pass at least 30 credits of taught modules may opt to exit the programme and be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Migration and Diaspora Studies.
