This is a full-time programme run over a 12 month duration. Part 1 (the taught element of the programme) runs from September to May, with Part 2 (research project) running from May to September.
Candidates must have an Honours Bachelor Degree with a minimum grade 2H2.
All applicants whose first language is not English must have attained IELTS Level 6.5 or the equivalent TOEFL score.
Students take 90 credits in total (70 credits in Part 1 and 20 credits in Part 2).

Candidates who pass all modules to the value of 70 credits in Part 1
but are not in a position to continue with the MSc (to progress to
Part 2) will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare
Information Systems.
Candidates who pass all modules to the value of 70 credits in Part 1
but do not pass the Research Stream Electives (Part 2) will be awarded
a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Information Systems.
