MSc (Economics of Business Practice)

Note: Entry to the MSc (Economics of Business Practice) is only via the Postgraduate Diploma in Economics of Business Practice. The programme can be taken on a full-time basis only and consists of an additional 6 months after studying modules on the Postgraduate Diploma in Economics of Business Practice.

The MSc (Economics of Business Practice) is designed as a natural pathway for participants on the Postgraduate Diploma in Economics of Business Practice (having successfully complete a year's work) to convert to a Master's programme.

1. Every effort will be made to accommodate eligible students through the work placement programme arranged by the School (see note 2 below). However as certain non-EU students may not be eligible to undertake work placement due to visa constraints, potential transferees from the Postgraduate Diploma to the MSc (Economics of Business Practice) are advised to ensure visa eligibility before submitting an application for transfer.

2. Applicants, who obtain their own work placement, which is deemed suitable for the purpose of the experiential learning on the programme, as determined by the Programme Director, may also be considered for the programme.

3. Students who are eligible to progress to the MSc (Economics of Business Practice) but choose not to progress may opt to be conferred with a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics of Business Practice.

Students take 30 credits as follows:

EC6120 Business Practice and Live Case Analysis (30 credits)
