The Higher Diploma in Accounting and Corporate Finance is available as a full time or part-time programme. The full-time programme runs for 9 months from the date of first registration for the programme. The part-time programme runs over two academic years (18 months). It is designed to significantly enhance the employment prospects of graduates who are seeking employment in the Accounting and Financial services areas.
Applicants should have a primary degree with a grade of at least 2H2. Graduates of any discipline will be considered, including candidates from broadly based business degrees. Candidates with equivalent educational and/or professional qualifications may also be considered as deemed appropriate by the Head of Department and the School of Business. Graduates whose degrees contain a significant element of Accounting and Finance, such as specialist Accounting degrees or Accounting majors, would not be eligible to apply.
